AhlulBayt News Agency: A member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts has hailed Imam Ali (AS), the first Shia Imam and cousin of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), as the guiding light and axis of unity among Muslims.
Speaking on the eve of the Ghadir Eid, Ayatollah Mostafa Ulama, called on the Islamic nation to maintain its unity by clinging to the rope of Allah and avoid any grounds for division.
He said: "The Almighty God said in the Holy Quran 'I have perfected your religion to complete my blessing on you today, and I have chosen Islam as your religion” adding that this completion was by introducing Imam Ali (AS) as the first Imam (leader) of the Islamic nation after Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
Ayatollah Alima hailed Ghadir Eid as a key occasion among Muslims when the messenger of God introduced Imam Ali (AS) as his successor so that the unity and unity of Islamic nation would be preserved and strengthened.
The cleric concluded,” The move by the Prophet of Islam was in line with the command of Allah and the completion of the religion, and also in line with the guidance of the Islamic Ummah to the right path towards happiness and perfection.
He urged Muslim world to maintain the path of unity by clinging to the rope of Allah and Prophet of Islam (PBUH).
